Common questions and troubleshooting for Paradise Signal.
The AI can't hear me or my voice is cutting out
This is usually caused by poor cellular signal or background noise. Try the following:
• Move to an area with better reception (check your signal bars)
• Speak closer to your phone's microphone
• Reduce background noise - move away from traffic, wind, or crowds
• If using speakerphone, switch to holding the phone normally
• Try calling from a quieter indoor location
The AI isn't responding or there's a long delay
Delays can happen due to network latency or processing time. Here's what to try:
• Wait a moment after speaking - the AI needs time to process
• Avoid speaking over the AI while it's responding
• If stuck, hang up and call back
• Check if you have an active subscription in your dashboard
My calls keep getting disconnected
Unexpected disconnections are usually network-related:
• Check your cellular signal strength
• Move away from areas with poor coverage
• If you're on the move (driving, walking), connections may drop in dead zones
• Calls have a maximum duration - check your dashboard for limits
The AI doesn't recognize my number
Make sure your phone number is correctly configured:
• Go to your Dashboard and check "Allowed caller number"
• Your number must be in E.164 format (e.g., +15551234567)
• Include the country code with the + sign
• Make sure the number matches exactly what shows on caller ID
The AI forgot what we talked about
The AI maintains memory across calls, but there are limits:
• Memory entries are shown in your Dashboard
• Very old memories may be summarized or pruned
• If starting fresh, the AI builds context over multiple calls
• Speak clearly and provide context when switching topics
The AI is speaking too fast / too slow
Voice pacing can vary. You can:
• Try a different voice in your Dashboard settings
• Ask the AI directly: "Can you speak slower?" or "Speed up please"
• Different voices have slightly different pacing characteristics
I'm being charged but can't make calls
If you have an active subscription but can't use the service:
• Verify your phone number is set correctly in the Dashboard
• Check that your subscription status shows "active"
• Make sure you're calling from the registered number
• Contact support if the issue persists
Can I use the service from any phone?
Currently, you need to call from your registered phone number:
• Only the number in your "Allowed caller number" setting can access your AI
• This is for security - it ensures only you can access your conversations
• To change your number, update it in the Dashboard
What languages does the AI support?
The AI can communicate in multiple languages:
• Set your preferred language in Dashboard → Settings
• You can also just start speaking in your language
• The AI will adapt to the language you're using
• Some languages work better than others - English has the best support
